BEIJING 2022 UNVEILS OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY PLANS
The Olympic flame was handed over to Beijing 2022 and was then transported to China in a newly released safety lantern, inspired by an ancient Chinese lamp called “Changxin”, meaning light and hope. The Torch Relay will be conducted in a traditional format in the three competition areas, as well as through creative methods via the internet, where people can share information about the Games through Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, online quizzes and others.
