Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (Beijing 2022) released the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games Radio Frequency Management Plan (Plan) on its official website on January 15th, 2021.

According to the practice of previous Winter Olympic Games, the Plan has been released about one year before the Games Time. Its main contents include radio equipment classification and frequency use recommendations, radio frequency application and licensing, radio equipment testing and tagging, radio monitoring, and spectrum management of the Test Events.

The Plan was jointly drafted by Beijing 2022 and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. The publication of the Plan will help guide domestic and foreign users to apply for radio frequency and use radio equipment during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Winter Paralympic Games, and lay a good foundation for the subsequent work such as frequency licensing, radio equipment testing and tagging, radio monitoring, and radio interference locating.
