China Post became Beijing 2022’s Official Postal and Express Courier Services Exclusive Supplier on 7 December 2019.
During a press conference held at China Post Group Headquarters, Piao Xuedong, Director General of Marketing Department at Beijing 2022, welcomed the new signing and expressed his expectation for China Post in its new journey of supporting the Beijing 2022 Games. “We hope that China Post will give full play to its advantages and remain committed to providing trustworthy postal and express courier services and high-quality postal products, in an effort to promote Chinese culture and Olympic spirit”, Piao said.
Liu Aili, Chairman of China Post Group, reaffirmed that China Post will fulfill its responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise and strive to deliver first-class postal and express courier services for Beijing 2022.
To further promote the Beijing 2022 Games, Xu Zhijun, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing 2022, and Zhang Jinliang, President of China Post Group, jointly unveiled the personalised stamps themed on the emblems of Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.
He Jianghai, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing 2022, handed over an Official Exclusive Supplier certificate to Liu Aili, Chairman of China Post Group.
As of 7 December, a total of 10 Beijing 2022 Official Partners have been signed, including Bank of China, Air China, Yili Group, ANTA, China Unicom, Shougang Group, CNPC, Sinopec Group, State Grid, and PICC Group. A total of seven Official Sponsors have been signed, including Tsingtao Beer, Yanjing Beer, Jinlongyu, Shunxin, Cultural Investment Holdings, Beijing Beiao Group and Heng Yuan Xiang. Three Official Exclusive Suppliers have also been signed, namely, EF Education First, iFLYTEK and China Post.
