On December 10, Beijing 2022 opened its first seven Licensed Product Official Stores in Beijing to meet the demand from collectors and sport fans.
The stores offer more than 140 kinds of licensed products, including pins, key chains, precious metal products, stationery, clothes and philatelic products.
More than 60 licensed products can be found on Alibaba’s TMALL online store since Dec 16, a day after the Beijing 2022 emblems were unveiled.
"Online sales is running pretty well," said Piao Xuedong, Director of the Marketing Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (Beijing 2022).
A total of 15 Licensed Product Official Stores will open across China by the end of the January, according to Beijing 2022.

Zhao Guohua, who wore a scarf from the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014, bought the pins with Beijing 2022 emblems to add to his collection of Olympic memorabilia.
"I have been collecting pins with Olympic emblems since the 2008 Beijing Olympics," the 40-year-old said. "I didn't expect that I would really keep doing this for so long."

On the same day, Beijing 2022 commemorative gold bars were issued in the Caishikou Department Store, the biggest gold retail center in Beijing.
Four different sets of the gold bars with Beijing 2022 emblem on them were launched, weighing from 10 to 100 grams.
Customers in the packed store were eager to buy the bars as souvenirs. Xuezhen, a 42-year-old from Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, said she bought three gold bars for her three children back home.
"We just passed by and saw the inauguration ceremony for the Official Store," Cai said. "A Beijing 2022 gold bar will be a great Chinese New Year's gift."
Zhang Guoxi, a 62-year-old Beijing native, also bought a gold bar for her 3-year-old granddaughter.
"It's such a happy thing for my little granddaughter to get a Beijing 2022 gold bar," Zhang said.
